2009 Referee Recertification

Effective for the registration year 2009, all referees are required to take a recertification test, regardless of grade. For referees recertifying with grades 8 or 9, the recertification test will be completed online. To complete the recertification process, all referees must register with USSOCCER (online or by paper), and must also complete the LSA Risk Management Disclosure form (if not previously completed). For more detailed instructions, please consult the 2009 certification process instructions.

Steps for completion of 2009 recertification process:

1. Recertification Tests: the test can be completed at your convenience at any location with a broadband Internet connection. You will need your USSF Referee ID. The test must be completed in one session (once started, it cannot be saved and resumed later). Grade 9 referees will have 45 minutes to complete the 50-question test. Grade 8 referees will have 75 minutes to complete the 100-question test.

2. Complete the LSA Risk Management Disclosure Process. For those 18 or older, the disclosure form can be completed online. For those younger than 18, the disclosure form can be printed and sent to LSA.

3. Follow the US SOCCER 2009 registration instructions. This step can be completed online. It can also be completed by mailing the registration form to R D White, SRA.
