If you want to become a referee, you must do ALL of the following things prior to attending a class:
- You must register in advance for a clinic. You cannot attend a clinic
unless you have registered. Walk-ups will not be allowed to attend.
You may also have to pay
the course fee in advance in some locations.
Locate the clinic you are registering for in the list below. Complete and submit the clinic registration form by clicking
here.
- From the email address you provide, you will receive an email from LSA with instructions on how to complete the
required Risk Management process. This must be done prior to attending the clinic you register for. Print out the
certificate when you complete the Risk Management process and bring it with you to the clinic.
- Go online to the U. S. Soccer website at
http://www.ussoccer.com/Referees/Resource-Center/Referee-Resources/Grade-8-Referee-Course.aspx, and complete modules
1 through 4, 7 through 10 and 13 through 17. Use the same 3-letter abbreviation from the list below when you view the
required modules. There are short 3-4 question quizzes at the end of each module. You should
view each module until you can answer all the quiz questions correctly. It's optional to view modules 5, 6, 11 and 12.
Print the certificate for each module and bring them to the clinic. You will not be permitted to attend if you cannot
provide evidence that you have successfully completed the required modules.
