In accordance with USSF requirements, ALL referees, regardless of grade, that is all referees grades 5-9, registered in Louisiana MUST take and pass the USSF exam for reregistration. This will be in effect for 2009 registrations so exams will be administered around the state, likely starting this summer through the end of the year.

The prelim plan, not finalized, will be that local instructors will administer the test to grade 08s and 09s. A training session, that will be a test prep session, will be provided as well. It will be important that local groups, assignors, etc start passing the word now. Emails will be sent to assignors, instructors, etc alerting everyone but the earlier we pass the word, the better off we will be. Please pass the word.

If a referee does not take the test or doesn’t make the minimum score required for his/her referee grade, he/she will not be reregistered.
